Expose your child to something completely new this summer, and you never know what kind of seeds will get planted for the future.
At The Leader’s annual Media Camp, we’ll expose students to news, feature and opinion writing. They’ll spend time learning how to work a camera and how to best use their cell phone cameras to take wonderful pictures. Students will learn effective (and proper) ways of using social media, and will learn other forms of media like broadcast journalism and podcast production.
Most importantly, this year The Leader’s Media Camp will be tailored to the student’s interests. We’ll focus in on the type of media each student wants to learn the most, while touching on the other outlets of media throughout the week.
By the end of the week, our students will have received a great introduction to the world of media. More important, they’ll learn how to be inquisitive, how to communicate better, how to write and how to take great pictures.
